Altruistic living kidney donor Lorena Rodriguez lost 50 pounds so she could donate to a young woman she’d never met!
Tad Suwa is one of more than 17,000 Californians waiting for a kidney transplant. The time he currently spends on dialysis interferes with time he could be spending with his family, fishing and serving his community as a firefighter. A transplant would free him and his family to live their lives again.
LaKishia and Jessica are not the kind of women that are going to let the phrase “incompatible” stand in their way. They weren’t a match for their loved ones but found a way to donate and help them anyway through something called a kidney chain.
